Volunteering/Work experience

Without our volunteers we simply could not maintain the level of work we do at the Centre.

We accept volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and interests. Volunteers range in age from 16 years to over 70 years.

We must point out the work is varied, from sweeping footpaths and the seemingly endless clearing of Autumn leaves, to feeding, cleaning, tidying and meeting the public. Every task helps keep the Centre a smoothly running and welcoming attraction.

 

We ask all potential volunteers to spend a few days getting to know us and see how they feel about the work involved and the potential to gain experience in working with and around animals.

Most volunteers commit to one day or more a week.

Working in the fresh air, surrounded by incredible animal, what could be better?
